Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I'm rounding the corner and headed towards the finish line on CARS 2. Just got my last shots assigned to me today with this guy below.

That's what always blows my mind. I've seen many a trailer for this movie, all of which give the impression that the film is nearly completed... and you guys are still animating!

Is that pretty typical, that with only four months left until release, the production is still finishing up animation? Do shots get finished and rendered as they get done, or is everything finished all at once?
Good luck on your remaining shots! This Italian Stallion looks like he'll be a lot of fun to animate!
